Sofirn Warranty Questions

Hey guys,

So i’ve purchased a Sofirn SP36 BLF last month, was quite excited and happy to have fun with the product when it came, good build and quality :slight_smile:

However, on last week, the USB C charging stopped working, the blue light does not turn on. Have also tried unscrewing the body and just powering the light via USB C but to no avail.

I purchased the light from Lazada, and I have reached out to the seller directly but have yet to receive a reply.

Thinking that the warranty should be the same across sellers, I have also separately reached out to sofirnlight@gmail.com, the Sofirn store on Shopee, as well as Sofirn World and Barry Dong on Facebook. However, I was told that “Due to the different persons in charge of different platforms, we are not responsible for AliExpress and Lazada, please contact the corresponding customer service through the relevant platforms”

Would anyone be able to advice or provide contacts to help me link up to Sofirn so that they might help?

I believe they are still celebrating the Chinese new year. They close up shop for a few weeks or so. Might be coming to the end of it soon and they will catch up on all their orders and emails.

The sp36 blf driver is sold on the AE Sofirn store if it comes to that. $10

hmm the driver looks like its only for the clicky switch right?

the light still works off of the battery, only the USB port or circuit is spoilt, as charging does not work

That page of drivers is sort of dumb. They list many drivers, but not all, but they don’t have images of them all. I have bought a couple of drivers in the past and they do ship the correct type as selected.

They also sometimes have drivers listed on their own page, sofirnlight.com, in the accessories section, but not very many.

Barry has also sold me a few unlisted things at times, after I asked thru the web chat or facebook messenger to him
