Lumintop PK27 1xAAA or 2xAAA pocket thrower!

Lumintop held a giveaway and sent me the PK27.

Here is my review:

What a terrible offering…wow, Lumintop has lost it! Why would anyone want to hold such a toothpick-sized torch? And it’s long! It in no way inspired any sort of actual practical use.

Great review, though.

Thank you! I did include a disclaimer that I love AAA flashlights.

It’s almost a perfect keyring thrower IMO.

The UI could be changed to cycle in the direction of Eco, Low, High and the MCPCB could be larger to help dissipate heat.

Other than that, it’s pretty good.

I tried a 10440 cell and it didn’t immediately destroy the driver. I wouldn’t recommend doing it that at home.

Agree with the “Great review”, but would like to add that the single AAA version isn’t that toothpicked at all. IMHI it is even a very nice looking light to put in your shirt pocket.

Really cool light. Not sure when i’d want a 2xAAA over a 2xAA with that size head- maybe if they could get some type of small diameter deep reflector or throwy optic to keep it as a penlight.

Recently talked myself out of the 2xAA version, I’d mod with a 4000k XP-P. Can’t justify more lights right now, the shelf is full :stuck_out_tongue:

Did anyone work out what PK stood for? The initials plus the unusual design makes me think Paul Kim maybe had something to do with them?
