Anyone have the UltraFire A2 Stainless Steel?

This light has always been soldout on DX and every other HK vendor so I just ordered one off ebay. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.23992

Does anyone have one and could maybe tell me a little about it.

I know it is nothing special and is just a one mode but I sure do love stainless steel, and it has a very nice clip!

So if all else fails it will be good for mods maybe!!!

It looks a lot like an AAA version of the RL-118.

Beyond that, I've not noticed that one before.

The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.

This is cheaper, multimode and 10440 tolerant, but has no clip, no review yet, and no photos of the LED

About the A2, in the DX reviews you have the clue.

This post/thread "may" contain referrals, a little contribution I "earn" in form of points ONLY if you buy the item. The purpose is to redeem items using the points and then making reviews of them in the forums to shar

Clip placement is useless on that light, it gets stuck and rips your pocket. It also has some issues with its threads being too short. The clip is useful and works well when placed on a trustfire F23 or similar.

Now with 100% all natural asbestos!

Thanks for the replys guys. I have loved the look of this light ever since I first seen it and had been holding out on paying premium money for it. I really did like the clip on it I thought it looked strong but maybe it is a bit too strong it seems. It would be nice if the clip was reversable and the light had 3 modes and a XP-E R2 or XP-G R5. I had the extra money this go around so I just said had to buy it to satisfy my lust for this torch lol!

On second look it would seem as though the clip is reversable! That is a little better but still doesn't help the tearing up of pockets that some ppl have had with this clip I guess.

Thanks for the link Fran. I had looked at that one but I don't care for a twisty light. I really don't mind that this light isn't 3.7v tolerant as on such a small cell I prefer NiMh over Lithium Ion. The dedicated 1.5v driver is much better than a hybrid driver on NiMh as you all know and I really did like the clip...I hope I can get it to work without ripping my pockets apart!

Thanks for the reply!!

Well even though I confirmed with the vendor that this light was in stock. It is just my luck that they sent me an email and said it is out of production and no longer available so my order was canceled. Oh well i'll just have to give up on this one.
