Looks like a rebadged Vanson to me. But great if you want to (slowly) charge 10AAs at a time. At that price when you need to charge a lot of AAs it sounds like a decent deal. One of my favourite chargers is a Vanson -- the BC1-HU which is rebadged by a lot of people.
Yeah that looks pretty good. However, it might not be a bad idea to get a Universal charger instead. This adds C/D/9V battery capability. Turns out lots of kid toys use Ds... :-)
I thought that too, hence the recommendation for the BC1-HU
But if you need to charge a lot of AAs at once, your choices are more limited. At least in chargers that are worth having. There are still a huge number of junk timer-controlled chargers out there.
One Amazon reviewer mentioned something about a 12-hour safety cut-off and insists this won't always charge a battery completely. Really? It would require 12 hours? He seems pretty fired up about it.
I think I'm still going with the C Crane QC2 because it's reliable and charges up to D size batteries. An 8+ bay charger would be nice but they seem to be limited to AA and AAA sized batteries.
