Here is a "hidden mode" light that could be handy.

How many volts does your flashlight have? How about 4.5 million...

Such a shame it got huge voltage sag under load. Like cheap chinese li-ions. :(

Anyone have something like this? It might come in handy at night, even against a coyote or stray dog.

That's a great find. I have been looking for one of these, but all the other ones had crummy emitters this one looks pretty good. If it keeps me from having to shoot a stray dog or coyote it's well worth the $50 bucks. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure I would want to get much closer than one-handed .357 range to a coyote or rabid dog.

I can think of a few neighbors upon whom that would be handy.

I'd like to see what my pyrenees would do to a coyote. He weighs about 160lbs now, and isn't overweight.

It'd probably go something like the time my last samoyed removed a skunk from his sister's face (she picked it up, it latched on, she squealed like a pig).

It was pretty anticlimactic - he took it off her face and dropped it on the ground...dead...must have just crushed it...

The 357 is for the neighbors

C'mon, that's not even fair. Your Pyr could bite a coyote in half. Literally.

My 155# male and 105# bitch have recently taken to playing with the deer that come to the house, instead of trying to eat them.

The deer are not amused; the bitch thinks it's the funniest thing in the world.

You're right you know - about 'literally' - even though NY coyotes regularly go way over 50lbs now.

I can't give him those big femurs they sell for dogs because he crushes them - quickly. I made that mistake once and had to give him mineral oil to help the pieces pass.

I'd still like to see it though. It is there 'job' after all.

Mine is the friendliest dog you'll ever meet - but I have no doubt he's got it in him...

My samoyed bitch WOULD eat the deer. She could never take one though, even a fawn. If given the opportunity, she'll try to rip the hide off a fresh harvest.

As for yours, my guess is, your laughing is encouraging the deer games ;)
