Don't know about the sst-50 (xm-l will be the same brightness and easier to drive), but that sst-90 is interesting.

 

Unfortunately the bin is unknown, but likely WL, which is 30% less than WN. Tint might be the DE/DF reject-ish ones given the 6500-8000K tint spec.

For comparison, a top bin/ great tint ssr-90 (the real deal) is $42 + $8ship from avnet.
