Any good protected 14500s?

Looking for 14500s, want them protected to be safe. Was looking at the EagleTac ones for $12.99 shippes for a pair, AW also looks good but is $9-$9.99 per battery. Any suggestions from the sage members here? These will be used for a Sipik SK68 clone.

The Trustfire flames work good I have a bunch of them. I have a couple packs of new ones I can part with if you are in a rush.

I can test one and see how many mAh they actually hold if you want.

blue 14500 trustfires are great..

Not in any hurry, the light is still on the slow boat from China, lol. How much would you want for a pair shipped to 27510? Also if you could measure the mAh that wouls be nice, thanks. [quote=E1320]

I paid $5.50 and have to ship them so does $6 sound good? I will test a used one I have here and report back later, so I don't have to take them out of the shrink wrap.

Sounds good to me. [quote=E1320]

trustfire flames is what i've used in my xeno the past 6 months.

I've cycled them around 100 times and they still have close to original mah

I just tested a random used one I had laying around I got 792mAh at .5 amps they are rated at 900mAh so not bad for a used one.

I like my R5-A3 XML mod and my Yezl A1 so much I haven't felt the need to buy anymore AA lights and I recently sold 2 other 14500 lights so I have 6 brand new 14500s in the wrapper still.

Shoot me a Paypal addy and you will have the money tonight, the AW and EagleTac are only 750mAh themselves so these look good :)

I tested one more and got 797mah at .5 amps.

just word of warning, I've found the protected flames trustfire are a little longer than the blue trustfires. The flames did not work well in zebralight sc50+ due to the added length. They might work okay in lights with more length in the battery tube.

Thanks for the info on the Zebralight. I had to google Zebralight I was not familiar with the term. I guess this Zebralight SC50+ thingy is a $60 dollar single AA flashlight. If you can afford one of those you might as well get some gold plated AWs to put in it.

The Trustfires fit fine in the Sipik SK68 clone the original poster was asking about. You can buy over 10 SiPik 68 clones for $60 or one Ziperlight thingy or whatever it's called.

that's the reason I went with the blues..I needed them to fit in my C3 and they were the only ones that would judging by the reviews..they have good capacity..750ma from my sa1 last 46 minutes..

hey guys

any chance you might have two more for sale? ordered a set from dx along with a charger and they shipped the charger but no word on the 14500s

should have checked here first. willing to paypal.

thanks
