I had a dereelight dbs and have a trustfire x9, but this was the first light to really wow me since my first led light (romisen rc-g2). Don’t expect to be wowed indoors, take that baby out in the dark!
Well I hear the Sky Ray STL-V2 puts out around 49,000 lux@ 1 meter. So that ought to be very close to the M3X, Sunwayman T40CS, Fenix TK41, and Crelant 7G5.
I got mine from Manafont not long after it appeared on its website. Price vs. performance wise, it's gotta be one of the best ones out there.
The only thing is, there's quite a lot of spill as well, so its better used in the open otherwise the light bounce-back from nearby branches/etc. tends to cut down the clarity at longer distances. Overall though, I'm very satisfied considering the (relatively) affordable price
It should surpass those, all except the Crelant and Sunwayman. TK41 is something like 43,900 lux or so and the Triton is 43,500-ish (correct me if I'm wrong). Still waiting for mine, too.
just so you know ilike..dd is sending out uniquefire v2's instead of the sky ray's..my package pictures back it up and one user in the other thread stated he got a uniquefire..not cool..
you could PM her, but i've never had any luck with that..I PM'ed her a question about the trustfire battery fiasco and she replies "have a nice day"..lol..
I started a case with DD to get things started and ask why the pictures show a skyray and the package pictures show a uniquefire..
