Dealextreme, Manafont- longest thrower

Which one has the longest throwing flashlight, any form, battery, cost etc, just the longest thrower. Thanks.

At DX you have this, but I dont know if DX has something better.

But, you are searching a "recoil" thrower or a "normal" thrower (with deep reflector)?

Yes, just a deep reflector, with max throw, thanks for link anyways.

This is a pretty good bang for the buck.

Yes, that FandyFire STL-V6 is a well known great thrower, (one of) the best at DX, ~50kcd, ~450m NEMA-throw.

Some more throwers

Already own the SKY-RAY version, so any thing else out there, on any other well know sites.

These have the biggest diameter and are well driven. The only way to throw better is an even bigger reflector - well, or an unhealthy overdrive, or an aspheric based light (but not those you usually get to see at Chinese vendors).

wonder how deep the reflector is on this http://www.dealextreme.com/p/trustfire-cree-x9-xm-lt6-5-mode-1000-lumen-memory-white-led-flashlight-with-battery-set-1x18650-92038?r=43033281… i like that its one 18650, how do you it would throw, compared to STL V2.

How do you think it would throw, compared to STL-V6

Probably less. I dont own it

The X9 is a great light but won’t throw quite like the Skyray. Driven properly it is very close at midranges, but starts dropping behind at extremely long distances. Some people have recieved them underdriven also. Being single cell and a very good thrower is a big plus.

Being a very long 1 cell flashlight disvantages it compared to the 2 cell throwers. The 2 cell throwers for not very much more length will have a better run-time and a nice constant brightness across the whole runtime generally.

Well, yeah... I was just throwing safety into the equation. Single cell lights can't reverse charge cells.
