Oh we're pretty much sold, but some of us on BLF are also "low on budget". And as such, has to be picky a bit when you can pick only one... Smile

How about memory on M10? Always start on high? Sure wish it does. With multiple disco-mode, I really cannot stand having to go through disco all the time.

I totally understand about being on a budget, and it's very hard to only pick just the one.  I'll try and provide any help I can so people can make an informed decision and not waste their hard earned money.  This light does start on high mode every time you turn it on, provided you leave it off long enough(more than 5secs).

This light continues to be my edc at work and performs like a champ every time I turn it on.  Medium mode is sufficient for most uses and people are always wowed by the size and the brightness of this  light.  It puts their under performing maglites to shameSmile

Well here's some more pics of the M10 showing it almost fully dissected.  A few worthy notes to mention about it are that the lens is glass.  The reflector is aluminum and the o-rings as well as the tailcap do glow in the dark.  Threads are quite smooth(came with minimal lube) and everything fits together quite nicely.

Now only 1 thing remains...

Do I order the whole package for $44:

- Keygos M10
- Keygos 26650 x2
- Cheap charger

or separately:

- Keygos M10 for $24

and

- King Kong INR 26650 x2 for $22

Or is KK ICR better?

I'm having a quadrilemma here. Quintilemma?

Is KK better sufficiently to justify not getting a charger and at the same time paying the same or greater price?

*mumbles incoherently and gets back to work*

This is my flashlight collection.

A little sad news... they had to cancel my smiling shark order.  Kind of bummed about that, but at least they gave me the option of a refund or another light.  So I have another incoming.  I still might want to get this light though.  thanks for the pics.  Looks like a solid design.

I got two of them coming, already got two Keygos 26650s  ready to throw in and fire away.. Cool

Actually, I'm upset *before* the order. Once I make the order I'm cool with waiting, as long as I know it's coming. Wink

Is there something wrong with me? Anyone else?

Just my $.02, Victor, but I just don't have a good feeling about those Keygos 26650 cells. Quite a few folks have the Kongs and they seem to be honestly rated. I think it's worth a few more bucks. By the way, I don't think the INR King Kongs are in stock, only ICR available.

Both INR and ICR seem to be in stock on CNQG.

IO also has MNKE 4000mAh IMRs available:

I have no idea what to order. Yell

Well we in the same boat and same light. Wink DX sent me email today, and told me that my light was shipped on the April 13th, along with a tracking number.  Don't tell me that we gotta wait another month for the "slow boat from China?" Surprised

Well the quickest has been 2 weeks and the longest I've had to wait has been a month.  I figure I'll receive it somewhere in between.

I wouldn't want to state if it would or would not overheat without proper testing.  Just based on looking at it's construction and design it might do ok for short periods.  The pill does screw into the head to allow heat transfer, and those fins do provide some additional cooling capacity in addition to just looking good.  Just my .02 cents.Smile

I have the Uniquefire version (UL-2180) and after about 15 minutes the entire body is hot enough for me to worry about what that does to the battery.  Maybe I am worrying over nothing, but it does get hot to the touch.

Dag, Ebay is blocked at work!! GRRrrrrrrrr...Cry

I didn't know there was a difference.. Just like the Keygos M12, sometimes it is refered to as M12a, and sometimes just plain M12. As far as I know, there are not TWO M12s?

Same with the Keygos M10, I think!!!.. Is there a DIFFERENCE??

Is it better to operate it with 3x18650 or with 1x26650?

It won't take 3x18650 in it. A 26650 usually gives the runtime of two regular 18650s, but still, I don't think this light supports the voltage of two liion cells.   A dual cell, properly driven light with an efficient buck circuit may have an advantage with 2x 3100mAh Panasonic 18650s.

My bad, I thought it was either 1x26650 or 3x18650. Now I saw that it takes 1x18650... Embarassed

taz, I am a newbie, so bear with my answer. The Keygos M10 will only accept ONE 18650 or ONE 26650!!

My 2 Keygos M10s arrived today. Ordered them from Go_Market on Ebay on 4/1/12. They arrived on the 16th. IMO, pretty fast.. Also they were wrapped pretty good too. Each light was bubblewrapped in a box. Then the two boxes were wrapped double with bubblewrap.

I fired them up with Keygos 26650s just in my house they beamed good. Waiting for tonight to see them in the dark. However, I won't get any pictures because I misplaced my charger for my Nikon!!Cry My bikeroom looks like the amityville horrow too, so finding the charger will be like pulling eyeteeth..Cry

I got this shot off with no flash before my Nikon died..Frown

The light looks good, no nicks, or marks. Just a handsome light. Going to mount them on a bike too. Wink

I just went for a walk with the wife. I gave here an ultrafire c8, at least I think that what it was. I had the M10. Pointing down to the grown, she claimed, and it seemed the ultrafire was brighter. But, low and behold when we reached a dark area, and she shined the uf and you can see about 100 yds down, then I shined the M10.. Wow!! As hard headed as my wife can be, and stubborn, she even said "yours is brighter".  I went with it about 25 minutes with it all on high. It did get warm.. Not uncomfortable, but it was just warm..I got some trustfire 26650s coming too.  Thinking about taking tomorrow and clean my room up.. Wink

Now, I got a pair of these M10s. With just that little outing, I am on the verge of getting a 3rd one for helmet use.. At that price... Wink Might just take my camera battery up to Best Buy about a mile from here, and tell them to stick in on the charger for me. I purchased my camera from them.. Will see..Wink

Is there any difference between C8 and M10 reflector?
