Unfortunately the product descriptions are of no help. They’re not accurate and just make no sense in general.

It says it has an “elastic switch”. What is that?
It says it has one mode of 900 lumens and can last 5 hours on one 18650? That’s ridiculous.
It talks about a crenelated bezel (which it doesn’t have).
It says “The fashionable LED flashlight is an ideal companion for you in the dark as well as a good helper for your camping, hiking, fishing, home lighting, etc.”
However, it’s a dive light. There is no actual information about this light on which you can rely.

Sherry, thanks for getting right back to me. I really only want that one product and nothing else. Can you give a realistic estimate of when you will have that product back in stock again? If you have no way of knowing, then here is the best way you could address the situation:

  1. Provide an immediate refund
  2. Update the product on your page to indicate that it is currently not in stock (because now you know)
  3. When it does become available again...
    1. Notify me directly so I may place an order then
    2. Update your product page again to indicate that it is back in stock again

I would be less concerned about how long it will take for the item to become available if the funds had not already left my account. For example, if you only put through an authorization at order time, and then the actual charge when the item ships, that would be preferred.

@ louis huang It appears that you are trying, but you have not reached the mark yet.

You need to have a system in place that shows you what you have in stock. It needs to show on your website what you have in stock. (look at some of the other websites where the number of pieces available show right on the item page). When someone orders, the stock level automatically needs to reduce, so that you do not oversell your stock. We do not want to order, if you do not have it. We are not willing to wait for 3 weeks from a NY/USA seller. We will not tolerate that and we will go elsewhere.

You need to find someone who understands what a flashlight is. The descriptions on your lights are direct copies of what the manufacturer is giving out. They don't know how to describe their lights in english, so you are putting up descriptions that do not have any real use for countries using english as their primary language. A person who understood flashlights could help you describe the light accurately. Possibly you could appeal to the members here and see if someone knowledgeable would help you with this.

You need to understand that you are selling in America now. It's different, it's more demanding, we want perfection, even though there is none, but at least we want the item in stock, fash shipping, excellent and responsive customer service and good prices. They don't have to be the lowest prices in the world. If you always ship the correct items, ship them fast, have them in stock and always satisfy the customer who has recieved damaged or defective merchandise, by making sure they are refunded, so that they do not loose a penny on the deal, then your prices do not have to be the lowest.

Like it or not, this is what you need to do, to suceed here. When I buy from American business people like Mouser, Drillspot, Grainger, Newark, etc., I can see right on their website how many pieces they have for any item. When I order, I get confirmation the same day and I get shipping confirmation that same day or the next day. They charge my card only when they have confirmed that the item is in stock and is shipping. Shipping is either free or low cost, unless I want expedited shipping.

If anything is wrong with an item, the seller pays the return shipping. They send me a link through email so I can print out a return shipping label, or they arrange for UPS or FedEx to come to my door and pick it up. If the seller does not do this, I do not do business with them, because there's someone else who will.

I will not buy from you until I know that you are capable of these things.

Hi, @Old-Lumens. Thank you for your advice; they are precious for us and we now are trying every method to improve ourselves.

We have a system to show you what we have in stock. However, in some cases, there are no stocks in our US warehouse and we need to send the products from Hongkong warehouse. It takes a longer time than usual shipping which makes you to think that there are no stocks. We are really sorry for that, yet we are doing our best and it needs time and lots of work to solve the technology problem of real time stock that you have mentioned. Wish you could understand that we are trying all the time but sometimes it might not be so instantly to reach the mark.

As for the description, we really have much work to do to improve it. We are trying to make the description accurate step by step and offer you useful information.

As for the flashlights listed in sale page, they are all in stock and we promise all the products will be shipped in two days after the activity, that is, you will receive the product which you ordered in two weeks, or maybe even in one week.

As to the customer service, we now have a relatively complete customer service system which can provide responsive services for our customers. We guarantee refund unconditionally if the item can not be restocked or we can't ship the item within 2 weeks.
