Yes.

The light is waterproof, tested only in the tub but I have no doubt that is good for swimming/snorkling. The TIR optic makes a not so wide hotspot with a dim spill. There are some artifacts but they are not too horrible. The "driver" is simply made of a resistor and a magnetic switch sitting on a PCB on the backside of the pill which has a good mass but sits loosely in the throat of the body and has no real thermal contact to anything else. The metal bezel is very thin and really only the outer shell of the TIR. The output is more like 150 lm OTF if I should guess, I can't measure that. Haven't checked runtime or current draw. The switching lever on the outside is prone to catch on something when you have the light in a bag or pocket and is likely to come off if this happens repeatedly. I use it as part of an emergency kit in my canoe (i.e. usually not at all) and have the lever taped onto the body.

Anything specific you want to know?

Hi mutts.

those lights are also available with an Cree XM-L - which gives you 6x the output: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171593633321
But you need a 18650 LiIon for that light.

They are not great, but they do what they are supposed to do and they are cheap.
