I don't know if this has been posted somewhere else (a quick search turned up nothing)... but DX now has the 8* AMC7135 ATTiny 13A driver for $4.20 here:
Price for 5 is $3.75 each! (accounting for registered air mail) just in time for my 3 XML's and triple XT-E.
EDIT: On second thought this looks like a better deal: http://www.kaidomain.com/product/details.S020237 ($2.68 each) although I don't know if V2 is any good. Never-mind... I misread 8* AMC7135 as 8 drivers for that price... its 5 drivers, so about $4.30 each :(
