MNKE IMR26650 3500mAh+

Hi gang, I'm looking to start purchasing some high end 26650 batteries and I wanted to know if this new offering from Jason's website, EDCPlus, are okay to get. Initially they'll be used in my FandyFire HD2010, but I'm looking around for a 2x26650 light right now also. I'm sure if Jason is selling them, they must be very good. But there are also protected cells from other retailers, so I'm not really sure what to purchase. Thanks.

I've heard nothing but good about the cells, although a bit expensive. These used to be sold by IOS as well, but I understand they are no longer being manufactured. I don't recall seeing any reviews, though.

Thanks for the information. I think I'm going to pass on these and perhaps stick with the KK's

I also heard the raw cell is no longer being manufactured... yet I found several on ebay, offered by some not-so-well known sellers. Smelled fishy, didn't want to chance it. So I (so far) have been avoiding these.

Thanks again folks for chiming in.

Benchie, after reading your review, I ordered 2x26650 Trustfire's from Manafont. I'm sure they'll be great. Thank you for all your hard work

EDC+ is, as far as I can tell, a reputable dealer that I've bought from in the past. I sure hope so as I just bought two of these cells.

Hey PCC, Jason from EDC+ is as good as it gets. Although I changed my mind about purchasing these IMR's, if Jason is selling them, rest assured they well perform at spec or better

I'm not worried, trust me.

My cells came in today. I don't have a light to put them in yet.

Hi PCC, which light were you going to use them in and when might it arrive?

I saw your post, you're working on the CNQG host. Can't wait to see how that comes out.
