Hello from Texas!

Hi there!

My name is William. I have been in the hobby for many years, since back in 2004-2005, although I have until now been posting mostly on CPF's.

I have done a lot of projects and always enjoy new challenges, and learning new things.

I do projects for myself and also for others, so perhaps I can not only learn but also help others.

Great to have you here, Will. I liked the LED swap you did with your Sunwayman, using the Nichia high CRI. I'm thinking about doing that with my V10A, but I'm still waiting on the Nichias to arrive from Craig.

Aloha and welcome to BLF William!

Welcome Will. Hope can see your products soon ^^

Did u ever mod Balder SE-1 ?? I have a plan to do it but don't know how to start ?

Welcome to BLF.

Yes, that Nichia high CRI is so far the "best" LED I have tried so far in my years of modding. It gives you a very nice and white team, and colors look natural. Beware of photos showing it "yellow" organge - that is the camera's fault when the Nichia is compared to bluish LED's. In real life the Nichia "looks" white :D

Don't own an SE-1, so I don't know where to start either. Depending on what type of epoxy was used (if any), it would be easy or hard to get open, but that host is at least not too expensive to experiment with :)

You've found a good place to hang, welcome

Welcome wquiles, good to have you here.
