WTB: Eneloop - 5th anniversary Edition-glitter

Hi,

I need advice Where to buy Eneloop - 5th anniversary Edition-glitter 8 battery pack?

But there are limitations

- must be genuine batteries,

- shipping to Serbia,

- the option of paying with a credit card but not through PayPal,

Thanks in advance

i got mine from amazon.de at a total of 17.80€ (was FREE shipping anyway afaik). since i use only 14500's in my 1xAA lights, my Eneloop AA's get exclusive use in the 2xAA light of mine: the cletus P2A.

How about these?

"1. We only accept payment via PayPal."

Don't have PayPal, can't get one!!!

P.S. This German Amazon is more complicated than eBay, can't find my way on it!!!

Try the UK Amazon

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=eneloop+aa+glitter&x=0&y=0

add to cart and go to checkout, to see if they ship to your country (if yes, shipping costs will be shown)

I checked all of them and none of them sends for Serbia!!!

certainly thank's for your suggestion...

Dont buy now. prices have increased for some reason. in my order history when i click on the link i am transferred to an amazon webpage which states 21.59€ as current price and my original seller (amazon marketplace "led-licht1", with FREE national shipping) doesnt have any offering anymore for Eneloop Glitter on amazon marketplace.

in fact, i just called them up. the seller doesnt have any Eneloops in stock at the moment and the Glitter arent produced anymore, they *were being* produced in 2010. They are old cells.

they surely look nice and i like mine .. but since the 3rd gen Eneloops are out yet (Chocolat edition), i would look for the Chocolats (which were being produced last year).

I'm waiting for it to go back to $20.00AU for an 8 pack down in my country.

Yeah, or go for the Disney ones, if you like! They are more exclusive and expensive

I am not in a hurry to buy but that price (about 20€-22€ or $25,95 from B&H) is quite OK since (in my country) I can (ONLY) order classical ones, Limited edition, 8-pack colored but not glitter and it cost about 35€ (notice the date on the package -> 2010-02!!! ) :

(right click -> view image)

I understood that they only loos initial charge with time ("Holds 75% Charge for Up To 3 Years") and capacity remains the same, abuot 2000mAh (min 1900mAh) you just need to recharge them?

This Disney edition also looks very nice, chockolate is ~OK but it's particularly difficult to find them, could buy disney instead of glitter :)

Ok, I found Sanyo HR-3UTGA-8BP eneloop glitter @ my local Nikon shop price is about 29€ (~$37) also Sanyo HR-3UWX-4BP eneloop 2500mAh for ~18€ (~$23) !!!

but when I asked (by phone) the guys from the store for a date of manufacture for glitter version, since they didn't find this information anywhere on the packaging they told me that "rechargeable batteries do not have the manufacturing date on them" ??? Is that true?

In the picture above, eneloop tones clearly have the date printed on the package!!!

Package for eneloop glitter that they sell is same like in my first post...

Sirius, check dis out:

just yesterday I read that topic :D and the only thing I can conclude is that, as you say: "according to handbook: "For reference the “Manufacturing Date” is printed on the package."" but the package that you bought didn't have a printed date!!! All images of package that I found on the Internet also had no date stamp!

So there's only one thing to clarify, if they "Retain 75% of the capacity after 3 years" does that mean:

if I open a new-unused package of these batteries on 3-hrd year after manufacturing and discharge them for the first time their capacity will be ~1750mAh (2000mAh would be 100%) but when I charge them for the first time

1. they will charge to the full capacity of 2000mAh

or

2. they will charge only to ~1750mAh because they permanently lost 25% of their capacity due to long disuse time?

Sirius, they usually don`t ship them fully charged as Im aware of. But after you recharge them (discharge and charge) you should get at least 75% after 3 years ;)

they don`t permanently loose 25% capacity after 3 years.. Its just that there is 75% left of the full charge. If you charge them again, it should be 100% (or very close to).

Was just checking, but the Disney ones dropped in price quite a bit. First they went for 3000yen, now they are down to 2000yen.
The usual eneloops go for about 1700yen.. so thats pretty close.

the glitter ones are hard to get. And they are usually more expensive.

unfortunately the Yen is pretty high,so it will make it more expensive to pay in $.

Limited supply until out of stock. Shoppers from non-EU countries can buy the VAT-free products (ru.nkon.nl). If you want to add lights from that site, pm me which ones and i could help with personalized BLF coupon code.

They also come in this package and are genuine.

Need too, there are so amazing !

But I will not do anything with them though… I have 3 AA nimh I use in my mouse and a flashlight, using them one after another. I need to find a usage for it…

Are these Eneloops genuine? Can anyone confirm?

My sister bought these for her EOS400D and speedlite flash because of my recommendation. She is very happy with them and I was very excited of them, too. These were the first eneloops that I had in my hands and definitely not the last, they perform really well… But back to the limited edition - there is another limited glitter edition in my country now - eneloop glitter

oh, I see that these have been mentioned, too.
