MOD
MT-G2 on Noctigon, Q-lite Driver
6xAA battery holder, series
Qlite with a 20mm blank board for the contact plate
Driver in place
LED in place - it's 22ga teflon coated wire
Reflector opened up. The reflector can't be opened up to go over the die substrate, because the led end of the reflector is smaller around than the die substrate square. Also, it would change the stack height too much. I also sanded down the back of the reflector, to make the seat thinner.
Finished. It was very simple to do and if you use two 26650, it's even easier, cause you only need the 26650 sleeve instead of making a holder.
One spring it for the Li-ions and the other is for the 6xAA holder. The shortened spring was a cut down out of a Maglite D.

Beam Shots
The beam shots will be of the Stock light, the 1D mod and the MT-G2 mod. The stock light and the 1D light will be mouseover photos. Stock will be Mouse Out and 1D will be Mouse Over.
The photos above are at 1/125 of a second shutter speed, to show more of what the hot spot is.
These three were done at 1/25 of a second shutter speed.

The MT-G2 pulls a little less than 3 amps with 6xAA and it pulls 3020mA with my Sony 26650
I do not understand the 1D. I put one of the led4power drivers in it and it will barely do 3 amps on high. I have double checked everything and can't find a problem. I also cannot get any turbo. I thought it was supposed to have turbo, but maybe I just need to go read again. My Sony cell will do 10 amps flat out, so it's not the cell. I just don't get it, but it's not impressive like it should be.
