what i think:

its well made - strongly glued body (the anodizing did withstand somebrute force - but not all)

i like the size and form

a very nice , useful light IF you are okay with the User Interface
on the one hand its nice to have a simple UI, but i wished a bit more possibilities on a light this strong!

USB charging works good

overall a good allounder!

when i am sucessful dis/reassembling the light i add some measurements!

the driver section is not round which i like

the switch is raised enough to be found in the dark

i like the switch – alltough i wished the colored leds would also show voltage of the cells or such

Stainles Steel attack style bezel

orange peel textured reflector

the lens is AR coated

the LED is centered well enough

the thread for camera stands

the double! spring is flattened for better contact

flattened driver spring as well – but no double spring

That is a nice looking, well built light! Have eyeballed it a few times. Good write up, good pics… well done!

Nice light !

It is good to see you review some nice lights again

Found this on KD website back in August, wishlisted it and forgotten, now I just see it again and found your short review. I also watched your video. Thanks for the nice review & disassembly, plus the video, they help with my decision as I’ve been looking for a good single 26650 xhp70.

This looks decent, and well built. ($81.81 on KD) Nice case and the included wall charger and battery but I don’t really need them, probably driving the price up a bit more than I’d be willing to pay because of its shortcomings (see below)

What I don’t like:

  • Only 3200LM max
  • Cool White 6500K
  • No quick access to Turbo
  • No Knurling to tube
  • Crenelations on bezel
  • Price a little high

Wuben: Make a NW version/option, add quick access to turbo, boost output to 4500-5000 and offer a lower price option non-kit for flashlight only, and I bet you will have a lot of attention for this among members here.

Still looking.
