Second try, TI 3V Lithium primaries

I purchased two 4 packs of the TI 3V AA size Lithium primaries from Battery Junction to use as back-ups for my 14500 lights. I like single AA lights and always EDC one that can use either a primary or 14500 LI, I figured I could keep a few of these batteries in my car and get (some of) the best of both worlds.

I tried the new batteries in a couple of lights tonight and am confused by my findings, I hope there's someone here that can clear this up for me. In one light, the TI batteries seem to perform similar to a 14500, in another more like a AA??? I did some very quick and dirty comparisons:

Sipik SK-68

I did a post about these a while back . I wasn't too impressed with their performance , they lost power fairly quickly . I seem to remember that I only used a Uniquefire AA S-1 for about 30 minutes and it had drained the battery down to 2 volts .

They may also have a high internal resistance , which at higher loads may lead to underwhelming performance .
