Only once, after using the search feature then clicking a link, I got the web page unavailable error. Otherwise all good.

Thanks for reporting. So “webpage unavailable” like a bad link? Or was it the blue Drupal-head screen that says something about “max_users” connections at the bottom?

Yes, it was webpage not available error, or page cannot be found, sorry I didn’t note the exact error SB. I have not had the max connections or php errors since the changeover.

When I refreshed a couple of times, it found the page linked ok.

Thanks SB! The number of errors I’ve seen have gone down lots. I just got this error, but it went away on the next click though.

Just out of interest. One time recently I saw there were 759 people looking - amazing how it’s grown in two years.

I’ve seen figures like that too. Incidentally, those numbers aren’t entirely correct now that we are running a caching mechanism. Anonymous BLF visitors will not register on Drupal if they hit a cached page, because in that case they get routed directly to Apache without touching PHP or the database. So the result is that the anonymous visitors count will usually be much lower.

Great, I’m really glad we finally have a workable solution. Thanks a lot for the reports.

If we keep growing at this rate I’ll have to tune things again at some point. But we’ll cross that bridge when we reach it. :slight_smile:
