$12.99 Waterproof???

I see this listed for $12.99, and claim that it is waterproof? Does that make this a diving light?

If I buy this http://www.ebay.com/itm/26g-China-silver-alloy-coin-crafts-Diameter1-5-/251058081741?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a743a4fcd will they send me a dry + batteries.

I would buy these coins for their silver value but I suspect they may be fakes and not contain much silver

I doubt it, just the same as it says 800 lumens from a Q5

With good rubber o-rings and lube it could probably handle being in a bath or something but I wouldn't even bother testing it under pressure.

Most the time "waterproof" means splash resistant or ok to use in the rain.

lol

I suspect silver refers to the colour.

No its not suitable for diving, at least not without testing thoroughly first for leaks.

It should be fine in a light rain shower though.

I wish there was a budget light suitable for diving... :(

And if I buy THIS 800-lumen Q5 flashlight, I won't have to worry about wolf attacks ever again!!!

It's only IPX3 rated so it won't offer protection from wolves while swimming though... Cry

These lights are fun but kinda like fat girls and pink scooters. Fun to ride until your friends see you.

For only a few $ more you can get an XML T6 which give much more light.

Hey CE, I have the Yezl M6X version of this light originally purchased for $29.00 from CNQ a couple of years ago, but now far more expensive than that. Although the Yezl version I find to be an excellent and very bright light, I'm not aware of it having any waterproof capabilities. But here is what I actually have.

Also, if you're looking for a good waterproof (diving light) I recently acquired the Diving Specialist-T6 650-Lumen 3-Mode, but it's expensive at $55.00. Even my wife loved the illuminated side-clickie switch it has and brightness is on par with my CNQ F12 Desert Yellow light, but with a slightly cooler tint than what NW would be. This diving light is also small enough to EDC and I typically use my diving lights more out of the water than in.

It also comes in a larger head size too, but still expensive at $55.00.
