12V (3x li-ion) 5A driver?

Hi guys, I’m looking for a buck driver that would supply about 5A with an input voltage of 12V. (3x 18650)

I got this one: http://intl-outdoor.com/boostbuck-318v-triple-xml-circuit-board-p-542.html

but I’m looking for cheaper alternatives. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep, that's the driver I'm using... Maybe Hank would cut you a break? Still can't figure out his pricing.. Things get discounted, then up'ed, just donno when.

Gotcha, I’ll try PM’ing him. Thanks!

I’m open to other suggestions as well.

I don’t know of anything cheaper but here’s another option.

The driver they sent me did give a little over 5 amps to the led and had 5 modes with the unwanted flashy modes.
.
If they want to add the flashy modes why in the he can’t they just make them hidden unless you go through a specific button push sequence. |(

I used the I-O driver in my ZY-T08 MT-G2 mod. I get close to 5A, IIRC.
Only things I don’t like are the slow mode changes and it will throttle back from overheating within 10 minutes on high.

Thanks guys, I guess we can’t get any cheaper with high current loads and high voltage inputs. :frowning:
