I have an older egear AA2 light that took a cr*p on me and I’am trying to find a driver for it but have come up empty.
Does anybody know of a place to get a single mode 13mm driver for use with two nimh AA batteries? I might try to make the light direct drive with a nichia 219 that I have on a 10mm star but am also not 100% sure how to go about that also.
The Nanjg 102 is the right size, but I don't know if the voltage will work. It's rated for 0.9-1.5V. Could be worth a look.
I saw those, but the 1.5V max might not be high enough to handle the 3V two AA batteries will put out? I might give it a try as they are so cheap if I fry the driver.
You could use a dummy cell instead of the second battery to protect the driver.
