14250 batteries: where do you charge them & some other questions?

So, I “only” have a Opus BT - C3100 and a Nitecore Digi D2 charger, that - I guess - won’t fit the 14250 cells. Will they?
I wanted to use them in a DQG Slim Ti flashlight I have that doesn’t have built-in charger.

So, the thing is:

- Where can I charge 14250 3.7V batteries, without adding magnets or other things to make contact?

- Would an [Olight UC magnetic charger](https://olightworld.com/olight-uc-magnetic-usb-charger\) work, or it would be too much for these cells?

- Also, are there any non-rechargeable batteries similar to these?

Any info on “good” cells / places to buy them would be nice, if possible, otherwise AliExpress will to the job …

Just use the opus on 200mA.
All you need is a little thick brass bolt, nut, or solid clean piece of metal around 15mm. Even the light itself

You could make your own from a 4056 charger board or similar too, changing the resistor value. Max charge current you want for 14250 cells would be around 200-250mA.

Thanks or the suggestion! That will still imply using something on the top/bottom of batteries, though. If that is the case, I will probably use the Opus I have!

I was looking for the rechargeable ones in this case. I’ve also seem those you mention, but I’d prefer to have rechargeables! Thanks again :+1:

So, the piece of metal would always be better that magnets, right? I can search for those around, I have some bolts and some brass rod laying at home!
I will not risk making a charger, as I don’t have tools or knowledge to change those values and put it all together!

If the Opus can be used by adding the bolt and reducing the charge current, I will try that! Meanwhile I noticed the Olight charger has a higher current and will not be suitable for these cells :weary:

I’ll try to use the DGQ Ti more often that I use now, so the small cells will do the trick :partying_face:
