14500 charger/eneloops AA

I use my Anker “PowerPort+” to charge my TC20 and with the Uni-T USB thing it says it’s charging at 2.13A compared to iPad plug at 1.58A or so.

I couldn’t find my Anker on HKJs page but I did read up on a lot of the USB adaptors.

Charge the AA Eneloops at 1A on those two chargers I mentioned.

Thanks! I’m guessing using a good micro USB cable with it is a good idea with least resistance like a was asking about in a thread a while ago for the charger?

Do those chargers sell on amazon?

Not mine. I have to lift them up both positive and negative side, then they look like they’re about to come flying out. Idk if it’s from the button top protection or what.

You truly have the worst luck.

I have some protected button top 14500 Sanyo cells from MTN Electronics, and they just pop right into the C4-12 without any fuss.

Wtf lol I HATE my Miboxer! Except for when it does decide to work great then I love it. Should I just order another one? Maybe I got one of their old funky chargers or something.

The resistance for ALL of my Panasonic’s, Sanyo cells from Richard all say 700, 999 resistance and they’re brand spanking new.

Those 26650 and solder blobbed 30Qs are mostly the only cells I have where the resistance doesn’t bounce all over the place

I just use the cable that comes with the charger or whatever I have handy.

Never seen the Liitokala’s on Amazon.

You can get a WUBEN ARF2 on Amazon. It is the same as the Lii 202, it’ll just cost you more on Amazon. I did notice there was a 40% off seller coupon available though. That will put it at $12. That is still a good bit more than using M4DM4X for a Lii202 though.

Alrighty Pete I just tried my Miboxer again and the only slot that works without any fiddling around is the 2nd slot.

That’s not unusual for protected 14500 cells, IME.

It is going insane with the resistance (999, 434, 578, 700 area) etc… on and on. Battery was charging last night from 29%…… the mAh went up to 745mAh, but the percentage never increased one bit till I took it out then put back in.

It then said 75%

You can look at the black label Fujitsu cells as well which are the same as Eneloop Pro. Newegg often has them on sale. Last time I paid $13.50 for an 8-pack.

AmazonBasics High Capacity AA NiMH cells are also good, thought to be rebranded Eneloop Pro as well, although possibly an older generation.

Eneloop standard (white) is rated for 2100 recharge cycles.
Eneloop Pro (black) is rated for 500 recharge cycles.

Wow thanks Pete! I almost bought an 8 pack of pros last night on amazon but it was around $30! Is a Maha charger good with these cells? Powerex 8 cell charger and I think it charges at 1 amp for normal charging but don’t quote me on that

No idea. I use my Miboxer for everything. Sometimes I pull out my old Opus C2400 charger as well if I need to test NiMH cell capacity.

They “fit” but nothing happens. No charge nothing except for the 2nd slot.

AA no problem but the protected Sanyos nothing.

Dont know why. Thats just my messed up charger for ya.

I have owned 2 C4-12 in the past 2 years or so and both ive had nothing but issues with EXCEPT for my 26650s they handle the automatic test/charge thing just fine. Any of my 18650s i constantly get 700-999 IR so the charge rate wont go past 0.01A.

The 2nd slot for 14500 just plops right in and charges no fiddling around needed.
All other slots i have to lift both positive and negative up for the 14500 and its all crooked and looks like its going to come flying out of the charger.
AA work in all 4 slots perfect.

I dont get it either. I messaged Miboxer sales on here no response. Is there someone else i should be messaging about this??
