For now, I have it as a sort of catch-all category for non-LED stuff. But if it turns out to be very popular, then I’ll create sub-categories for lanterns, HID, etc., as needed.

Thanks though to me Lanterns include everything from oil lamps to propane, kerosene and white gas pressure mantle lanterns and LED lanterns and portable lamps. They are the oldest and widest range of forms artificial lighting there is.
Good question. This “non-LED” category is sort of a general category for anything that doesn’t use an LED, be it a lamp with a flame or an HID searchlight. There will probably be additional sub-categories in the future as needed. But there is probably also a considerable amount of interest in LED lanterns. For that reason, I just added another new sub-category in the Other LED Lights category:
Oh you mean ones powered by a fuel cell. Quite likely coming eventually and providing exceptional run time per BTU of whatever fuel the fuel cell can take. Methane powered LED lights?
