1800-1250 lumens step down on a 18350 is that to much for size of battery

How much current is it pulling at 1800 lumen output? Which specific 18350 cell are you using?

Are you sure the stepdown is happening as a result of battery and not as a result of some thermal regulation within the flashlight?

Hi there im looking at the Eagtac dx3b clicky just seam a lot of power for a small battery type

That light is using a nice big, efficient emitter. It’s more than reasonable, people get crazy numbers off D4s and custom Convoy triples using using 18350 tubes.

OK, so this light has thermal regulation which is what causes the stepdown in lumen output.

I don’t know the max current it draws, but my guess is a quality 18350 cell such as Aspire or Vapcell shouldn’t have a problem delivering it.
