Pete7874, 18350 cells are short and therefore spring rail pressure is loose. By sticking another 18350 by the other side that is fixed just enough. :-)

Cell weight re-tested and confirmed, they're within ±0.25g or so.

Phew! Makes sense. For a moment I thought you were charging (or discharging) two cells in series in a single slot.
