18650 giveaway, courtesy of downlinx [current giveaway - July 14-21]

In, 4.2 V, please.
Thank you for the giveaway!

In.
LG 4.35v if possible

I’d love me some 18650’s!

I have no strict preference. I’ll take whichever I can get. Of course, if I had first choice, I guess it would be silly not to ask for 4.35v just to get that much more power!

I’m in, thanks.

4.2v

I'll add a note to the top, but would you guys state if you only want the 4.2V or 4.35V cells, or would take both? I should have realized that could be a problem before I started the giveaway. Sorry folks!

I’m not in Conus range but I’ll pitch in IF I win.
Thanks for the giveaway.
4.2 is fine for me

I didn’t get to test these cells much at all, so thanks to leaftye for doing the legwork and putting on the giveaway. btw, i am not entering this contest, hehe :davie: good luck to everyone.

Hey, thanks for finding these cells because I can never find any around here, saving me many cuts by pulling them from the packs yourself, and sending them to me.

I hope my tests are accurate enough. I had a few cells where resistance was really messing up the results, but I think they're fine now. I'll try modding the setup a little more to further reduce resistance. I'm testing another batch of cells that have shown pretty good consistency, and that should tell me if the first cell I tested here needs to be retested.

I'm also hoping to build up a database of sorts. Nothing as comprehensive as HKJ's, and it'll have some flaws because it'll include some cells that I've been using with poor records of their histories, and pack pulls with unknown history, but hopefully it'll still be useful.

no problem at all, it is one of the things i get to do to relax. workbench is next to my 200 gallon aquarium so i sit and watch the fish while i pull tabs.

I’m in  4.2 volt is preferable for me.

Yes! 4.2v please

I’m in for 4.2v, thanks!

4.2 Thanks!

Got a ‘brand new’ 18650 the other day that just acted too weird, so it was discarded. So, could actually use one to replace it.

The 4.35V battery giveaway is going to be delayed. My hobby chargers can't charge up to 4.35V, so I won't be able to test these cells until I buy a new hobby charger that I can use this open source firmware that gives it the capability to charge 4.35V batteries.

thats a shame, i am sorry, if i didn’t even realize i sent you the 4.35v cells.

No apology needed. I had already planned to get another hobby charger because I very much want to try that open source firmware since it does some things even my Turnigy Reaktor doesn't do, and I've been wanting to check out a 4.35V cell for a long time. It's my fault for failing to anticipate that this could be an issue with the giveaway. It's just a temporary delay though, and the folks that wanted the 4.35V cells will get multiple chances to win...I might keep one to play with though. :D

im in.no preference, can use either. thanks

Count me in for 4.2V. TY!

A second cell has been added, but I want to replace it with a better cell if I can.

Count me in for either cell voltage.
Thanks
