It is possible to write release date and review date on the reviews, and also a memu selection from the most recent down to the older reviews… !? Just saying… !? Thanks !
We add the dates at the top (in the table) of each review… Haven’t noticed that yet?.. Currently, all lists are ordered by New to Old.
I don’t currently have time to finish this, but we worked on a filtering system, that’s about 95+% finished. Then you can filter by many specifications/measurements. Only the sorting system is not working yet properly.
I think I speak for many when I ask you to please do an update to the Loopgear SK05 Pro review, with the Kickstarter version, which has a regulated driver, the sustained performance changes a lot. I hope you can do it, thanks.
Thank you very much for the ongoing update of the SK05 PRO review. I would like to make another request, Fireflylite has incorporated a new LED to the T9R, the FFL909MX, which gives more lumens and more throw than the SBT90.2, it would be great to have a review, or update of the existing one, comparing both LEDs in the T9R, with measurements of lumens, throw and runtimes in the different modes, thank you very much in advance, greetings.
I’ve seen that you’ve already updated the SK05 Pro review. Thanks.
In the conclusions, in the negative part, the “infamous turbo drop” thing still appears, and I think that now the sustained performance is quite decent, I don’t know if it still seems “infamous” to you or if you forgot to edit that part.
Output does drop pretty significantly! Please check the runtime graphs in Turbo. From almost 3000 to below 600. It’s not as bad as some Anduril based lights, but it’s still there.
Yes, of course there is turbo drop, but what flashlight of this size doesn’t have turbo drop? Not even in larger sizes can you sustain 3000 stable lumens. I think Loopgear has been conservative, and could have sustained perhaps 900 lumens, but 700 and some lumens, in turbo, in the flood channel, which is what you see in your review, is not bad. And close to 600 in the launch channel is not so bad either. It is true that the figures could be better, but they are not horrible.
On the other hand, I don’t understand if your unit is broken or it’s a mistake, because you say that it only gives you 200 or so lumens in high mode, in spot channel, barely 20 or 30 lumens more than in medium mode, and that’s not the case at all in my unit, these are my measurements in lux in all modes at about 2.5 meters from the wall with the opple:
Luxes i measured / Lumens in your review:
Low 202 lux / 58lm
Medium 1.587 lux / 193lm
High 5.038 lux / 225lm
Turbo 10.117 lux / 1368lm
With this data, it’s obviously impossible that there’s only 20 or 30 lumens of difference like in your unit, what’s wrong? your unit or is it a review error?
Thanks for the comments.
I’ll forward it to our reviewer (I’m not the one who reviewed it), but I think that’s still from the prototype product… but now 100% sure… I’ll ask, and update the review if there is anything to add/edit.
