$2,500 Maglite?

What I'm trying to understand - did Supreme make a special order from Maglite? And in what quantities? Were these genuenly produced at the Maglite factory? Or did Supreme customize these after purchase?

Supreme is a highly hyped street wear brand with lots of support and demand from youngster. They often do collaborations on different common household/everyday items, including zippos, toolboxes, band-aid and even a simple brick. Yes, a brick.

All of the collaborative items are simply custom batches with their red boxed logo printed on them and no matter what they make they always sell out. Depending on the quantity that are made there goes the exclusivity and price.

People who are wanting to buy that Maglite wouldn’t even bother to turn it on, they would just keep it as a collector piece.

The asking price of 2500 is obviously exaggerated since these items normally sell for up to $300. The retail price is way below that, probably around $100. Reselling is a common form of business for these items.

I have Supreme branded Nitecore LA10C. I guess they do some collaboration work with flashlight companies to make their own (Supreme) branded stuff.

“Not worth more at all.”

IMO, at that 2500$US price tag, they better include 6x 8000mAh NiMH cells with an 8 cell high quality charger, and an upgraded XHP50 LED drop in from ASAF.

That would make one dope light, but still not worth it.

I received this one as a gift, so i do not know whats the retail price. It can be found on the internet for as much as $130 but i think this is far from the real price that these were selling for.

So much for “trendy”. This is the first time I’m even hearing of “Supreme” anything.

I should invent my own “fashion line” just to screw with people. Flaming orange hoodies, teeshirts, belts, whatever, with “IMAGE KING” splattered across over it in a Banksy-style scrawl. Tell everyone it’s sooper-eleet, they can’t afford it, I only got it as swag when a friend went to see the Oscars and gave it to me.

Then again, probably 2wks later I’ll see it advertised/sold all over AX…

The 7D mag was only made for a few years and they sold around 19,000. The last one produced would be around 38 years old now.
Its supposedly one of the rarest maglites made. I have no idea about the significance of the added supreme lettering.
Was this company around 38 years ago?

I have no idea as to it’s value, open to all offers. From what I’ve read online, this is one of the rarest Maglites out there. A small run of “marquis” was produced in May 1988, before they were renamed “solitaire”. I’m the original owner, it was carried on a key ring for a number of years. There was a small amount of battery corrosion on the end cap, which was bead blasted off. Fortunately the battery corrosion did not affect the barrel or bezel.
