All of my S21As have good springs, long enough for no-rattle use with my 18650s. So, along with the compatibility for both sizes, I’m able to rotate the use of all the recently manufactured batteries that I have. My M21A is just as functional that way so it’s convenient, no matter which size battery I have at the moment.
Ok perfect, I was already worried, they told me that it would arrive next week and I don’t have any 21700!!!
And I also think that I will choose the M21B with the XHP70.3HI so the 21700 that I buy are worth it.
Although I liked the S11.

Internal resistance is one factor. It doesn’t tell you everything. I wouldn’t rely on that alone. It’s also not fixed, it’s constantly changing, and there’s so many variables its almost not worth using it all unless you can control for all other variables. For example, a brand new battery could have internal resistance that matches one 10 years old because of a fingerprint.
Id use them for low drain applications. Energy storage, handheld fans, stuff like that. Not where they won’t be sealed inside a pipe bomb exposed to high temperatures.
But if you’re going to do it anyways, my best advice is keep an eye on temperatures. Ideally grab a IR temp gun. Operating temps are in the datasheet. 45°C max when charging, 60°C max when discharging. Don’t exceed those temperatures. And remember that internal resistance increases drastically above those temperatures, so going from 80°C to 200°C might happen much quicker than going from 60° to 80° did. Just something to keep in mind.
If I know I do it to discard the bad and very high ones.
I see that here they are used to high consumptions and more to me that I like to take them to 100% as long as I can.
I will have to buy the two I will use 18650 and 21700 if I buy the S11 also the 26650.
I have not bought because of the bad experience you do not know who to trust.
Even here there are read many doubts in the choice I do not know which one to buy of the 21700 and the 18650 if you know of any site for EU or AliExpress but reliable I would appreciate it!

It occurred to me to ask the store and the response was quick.
But I have been advised button batteries and protected from 20 € and 5A I think it is not a reliable store.
As far as I know, it is clear that I should not use any button or protected batteries because the flashlight has a projection circuit.
Then the flashlight reaches 6A and has advised me a button battery with protection of 2000 and 5A maximum discharge for 20 € a unit.
I think he looks more for the sale and not to advise, have lost a customer was going to buy a Samsung or Novicel the good ones that are correct.
Or so I think I in the group is chosen much the 50E I think or 50T I do not remember.

They’re a battery store. They don’t know flashlights. Protected button top batteries are very common in many consumer flashlights so the advice was probably given in good faith. They just don’t know specific flashlights.
Those are both much better than your laptop batteries. Much better.
For XHP70.3 you might want higher amp rating.
Consider that xhp70.3 is a 6V LED. This means that when Simon says the driver outputs 5a, he means 5a at 6V. One battery as you know is 3V-4.2V, so the driver is stepping up voltage and so needs to draw more than 5a from the ~4V battery to output 5a at 6V.
I don’t know the exact numbers, but roughly if a 6v LED is being driven at 5a, the input from the single battery is probably closer to 10a. A battery rated for 15a or higher would be preferred.
But either of those are better than old laptop batteries and better than AliExpress batteries.

All of the batteries I have gotten from Convoy are adequate. Maybe not the best available, but OK for the lights that he sells them with.

In the end I decided to buy good batteries for my new flashlights.
2 Molicel INR18650-P28A 2800mAh - 35A
2 Molicel INR21700-P42A 4000mAh - 45Ah
1 Keeppower IMR18350 1200mAh - 10A
But I have not seen any significant change with the refurbished LG 18650 2800mA and 5.4A discharge laptops.
Maybe they are ok, in the test I had almost more than 2600mA and for these flashlights the 5.4A is enough or maybe they are not worth for prolonged use.
Now I have put the Nolicel.
But I will use the LG ones as a backup, they are still very good.
I’m going to place another order just like this was a test order to see how NKON works.
The Keeppower is a blast I mounted it on a S31Pro with the short tube, amazing turbo delivery at max!
I will buy another one to use with short turbo the S2+.
Arrived well packed in a large box.

IMHO, Molicell cells are pretty much as good as you can get. This based on reading lots of test data and my personal experience. Not sure about Keeppower. I have not used them. I am pretty sure they are a re-wrap of some other cells.
Also, I have only a few 18350 cells. I bought them for a project (probably 4 to 5 years ago) and have never used them. So I am far from being experienced with this type of cell.

Keeppower 18350
I have a S21A, XH-P50, 2S light and the 2 keeppower 18350s always discharge the same, unlike another pair of purple Vapcell models I have.
