These are 3 builds I’ve done over last last little while.
The first is a Red 4D SST90 on a custom machined heat sink, powered by 24x7135 in a master slave using high and low mode.
Second is a 3D Camo Triple XML. This was originally supposed to be powered by 3 li-ion’s in series but I had 3xAA carriers and thought I’d give that a try instead. So 9 duracell white tops in series connected to the 3 leds using the Download Multi-Lux method with 8x7135. Run time on high is pretty short. I was worried the cheap plastic carriers were going to be loaded with resistance but on high it draws a full 2.8A at the tail.
Third is a 2D Silver XP-G2 on another custom heat sink with a Rebel reflector and 6x7135. This light has 3 GP 3300 mah sub-c’s and a plastic spacer. This one has a very nice beam. Almost the perfect balance between flood and throw.
