That’s nice to know BG will be paying for the return shipping. I will to check with my local post office, since the last time I talked with them, they won’t accept li-ion parcels.

i am sure some will help to keep banggoods loss low and keep the flats (for the imho very fair price)

Just to clarify things for everyone, the statement above mean……if you want to keep the flat-top (which is already paid for) but still want the button-top, just pay $2.50each for the button-tops….am I correct?

This seems like a very fair outcome. I would rather buy the 10 flat tops
than deal with the hassle of trying to ship them back.
Seems like it might be easier to ship to Banggood in USA and haver then ship
back the bulk to China.
I have already PM’d Neal That I will purchase the flat tops and have them
replace the correct button tops also.

$2.5 for each button top 30q is fair, IMO.
for those who didnt ordered or received flat top might take advantage of this. my 2cent

I think what Neal meant was if you guys that received the flat tops are willkng to keep them, will just pay $2.50 each and he will refund the rest.
Also anyone close to San Jose area who doesn’t want the flat tops, I will buy them for what it cost you to help out BG. If farther and have no problem shipping them to San Jose then I can buy from you too.

That´s what Neil is at. Everybody who ordered button tops and got flat tops can keep the flat tops for 2.50 $/pice. The difference is going to be refunded.
This seems to be a very fair offer to me. I will agree and keep banggood off any shipping cost for resending. They are doing very fair deals with us, so I´m going to be fair with them.

I think this is what Martin wanted to say as well.

@banggood
I´m still in need of the bottom tops. Is there any proof that my next order on button tops is going to be button tops delivered ?

I believe this is a more than fair response from BG, I have never bought from them in the past but will not hesitate to do so in the future.

That is NOT how it reads to me. If you are happy to keep flat-tops, then pay BG $2.50 per battery. And no refund, but BG will supply the originally ordered button-tops to fix the error.

I am 99.9% sure that if mine (yet to be received) are flat, that Australia Post will not let me mail them back, no matter who pays for the postage. Postal service here is adamant that there is NO mailing of Li batteries. They do have their head in the sand!

as i understand is that those who wants to keep the flat 30q are entitled to buy and pay 30q $2.5 each and send the payment to *paybanggood.com* then PM neal for the transaction ID created by PP. and NO refund will happen.

Perhaps a more easy-to-understand offer from Neal is necessary at this stage. As it is right now, there is some confusion.

This is a great solution and I wil meet BG half way and keep the flat tops and pay them 2,50USD for each.

Do I understand correct that the button tops are already beeing send to their rightfull owners?

If so how are said people gonna pay BG the 2.50USD per cell? where do we send it to?

Really glad this is beeing taken care of, in sure a professional way.

If he means BG will refund us $2.75/cell to keep the flat-top cells, I would be happy with that. $2.50/ flat-top cell is a good enough deal to me to accept cells I didn’t order. I hope this is the settlement. If it is, I will feel good about continuing to buy from BG.

But wouldn’t we then need a new groupbuy?

as far as i understand:

  • you will get what you ordered (button tops)
  • you may buy (for another 2.50) the flat tops or send them back on banggoods payment

please PM Neal what you want and he answer the necessary steps

I heard from them overnight. I was not worried, just a screw up. I have asked Neal if I could purchase another 2 button tops. I had ordered them for the D01 and need 3 all together.

thats fair enough i think

Yep that’s VERY COOL with me, I’ll pay $2.50 for the (8) 30Q flat tops I got, no problemo!!! Thanks Neal/Martin!

Since I still have no use for these batteries, I will be returning them at banggoods expense apparently.

However, I just checked:

http://pe.usps.com/text/pub52/pub52apxc_040.htm

Can I not even legally ship these batteries? Does hat me a we have to use another carrier?

I bought some windyfire 14500 from mtnelectronics. It was just a bubble mailer and the 4 cells where in their boxes. Shipped thru usps . I placed another order for efest purple 14500 from another vendor and I’ll take pics and post them here. Should show up tomorrow.
