GearBest is working according to their updated company policy and sent their own QA staff to the factory to individually check and approve all 1500+ lights. [Sounds like they are really committed to enhancing their quality! Good job!]
The approved lights should arrive to GearBest warehouse around March 10th => please keep your PayPal ready.. :)
Update 2016-2-19:
I just got a confirmation from the factory: They are back from holidays, and have got the emitters! Based on the reel label, the emitters are authentic and the correct version:
sw50 = ~5000K
R9050 = 90+CRI (93 typical)
Note that the flux bin is one lower than earlier (D200 vs. D220), but that's not a big deal.
About the schedule: Factory told us that about 1300pcs will be finished by the end of this month. Producing the rest will take bit more time.

Due to high demand and 1st batch being sold out I decided to check if we can raise enough interest for a new batch.
BLF-348
Essentially a known good SF-348 light, equipped with well known and admired Nichia 219B 5000K 90CRI emitter (NVSW219B-V1 sw50 R9050), and of course a free BLF engraving*.
[* I know some of us want to have our lights nice and clean, so the engraving is optional]
All this for (unbelievable) price of $6.99, including free shipping*. For reference: a bare Nichia 219B emitter is $3.98 at IOS.

This will be exactly the same 1-mode (easy to use!) classy and small stainless steel light with exactly the same Nichia emitter (why change something that works so well?) - but there are small changes in practicalities:
1. This time we have to reach 800pcs: Manufacturer demands this in order to keep price at the same level than in the 1st BLF-348 GBGB - Do you think we can reach this limit? I think we can, and to prove it, I'll reserve the 1st 100pcs. ;)
2. As many of us are planning to use these as gifts, there will be an option of buying the light in a nice gift box - for only $1 more ($7.99)
Note: These photos are here just to show how the box looks like. The light in the above photos is some other product.
Note2: The box will have only BLF print (and no print for non-engraved ones). The print will most probably be the same than the engraving. I'll confirm this soon.
