The junk on the end of the url is one that I think is aimed at bolstering search rankings for the products. Amazon search being the wild jungle that it is, the search rankings become important to sellers. I don’t mind so much with our good flashlight brands that are trying to enter the US market on a broader level…they need the exposure and more sales will hopefully keep them in business for a long time.
It’s not uncommon for some lights to be given away here by vendors (behind the scenes) and they may ask you to find the light by a search before purchasing with a coupon or later refund. Not as shady as it sounds really.
I figured it some amazon analytical thing i was gonna say ill click it if you get something out of it. Just thought the redirect from http I thought was weird. Like why would amazon route you through http and get flagged by everybody? They can’t afford a certificate?
I’m also just constantly paranoid of phishing links on any message board. I’ll open a link to a market or store from a forum. Phishing sites are real good thes days. That includes links from advertiser’s on the side banner too. Seen too many Phishing sites
Yeah, I am on the road to home,due to traffic jam, back to home is so late and forget to cancel the coupon. There is a 7 days promotion begain on 16th, Jan, therefore, the discount is superimposed. The second day I just found out and cancel the coupon immediately. :cry:
