44.6mm head, aspheric XM-L, 18650, 3 Modes

Today I saw this interesting flashlight, looks nice, a cheap aspheric with pretty nice head size.

What do you think? I would like to view some opinions or reviews before ordering…

Looks interesting enough. Goggle comes up blank on this puppy. No information I can find.

Sure can’t tell much by their beamshots. If it ran off 2*CR123 I’d be more interested for myself. I also wonder if the C8 tail cap would fit this.

Hopefully someone will do a comparison to the Sipik XML.

looks like it has a decent (glass?) lens, not so flat, that’s a good point.
I think it will work better than the other budget xm-l asphericals.

It seems that lens has good effective diammeter, but for serious throw it needs to be even wider, if Im not mistaken…

Its interesting though - but who knows how well its driven, and how’s the thermaln sinking, wi9ch can be tricky in zoomies.

PS: They are really persistent with those strobe modes :o

Yep the beamshots are with it set to flood so they tell us zero… :expressionless:

Double post, please ignore.

Judging from the picture, the bezel looks thin, so there might be more than the Small Sun C10-S’ 33mm useful lens diameter which is actually quite effective on the latter flashlight (same head diameter).

Edit: Oops, now I see that this one is XM-L, while the Small Sun is XR-E, so it’s difficult to predict anything from that comparison.

Wow,nice find this is a clone of wolf eyes nite hunter and the original is like a 100$ plus light.Wolf eyes stuff is quality as far as I hear although I don't own any this would be nice.Screamin deal if this is as good of quality as the real deal.

This is the Night Hunter R5 version. Nice and ringy!

I like that its a twisty zoom, not keen on push pull ones, let us know what its like.

That’s pretty cool. Potential to be the best Xm-l zoom.

At $22,I can't resist(here we go again)agreed with agenthex, has a lot of potential even if I gut it and use the host. It's my birthday soon and I can tell the wife that as my excuse...hehe.Can't wait to tear into this one as my only aspheric is a sipik and I like that alot.

I’ll let you know how its driven in about 2 weeks

Think this is about the same as the small sun c10.

I might give this a try for a rifle mount. I was leaning towards the Keygos M12 but this has piqued my curiosity

I can’t wait to see the results of this torch

Wow, a zoomie XM-L I’m interested in. Let us know how this sucker does!

I’ve ordered it too but based on my experience with XML zoomies I dont expect nothing spectacular…
To zoom XML properly (for throw) even significantly wider aspheric lens is not enough - I tried it with DBS-V3 aspheric. Also, because of wide angle of transmitting of this particular emmiter, much light is lost.

But I think it would be Ok for some shorter distances.

Anybody got it yet?

I got mine. I really like it even thought it was driven at 1 amp on high. I subsequently got it apart and rammed in an ultrafire p60 xm-l (w/o the reflector) that I wrapped in copper foil. Seems to be OK in there. I got it pretty tight and thermal transfer seems good. I have not done a current or lux test yet.
