Well it has a nice look. Bit too costly tho.
Wonder if it has an actual heatsink. Preon P0 has no heatsink at all. LED isn’t even mounted on a mcpcb, just FR4 pcb. Just to save 3mm in length?
First 30seconds, I have a felling I am watching a Apple video where top ranking people give me the history and "how can we improve?" line. Anyway I appreciate his speech.
I like the headlamp idea. The dual side mounted option made me chuckle, but there's some practicality to it. If forehead mounted, it sticks out a lot, but that's a good thing for eyeglass wearers.
underpowered… overpriced…
It looks like crap in the video. All beat up or bad machining. I have one 4Sevens light and is an OK light but nothing special.
So ugly, it looks like something made by one amateur in his garage using scavenged metal pipes from the trash. Even in the video the metal is dirty. J)
The old version looks much better. They should have made full a stainless steel version of it instead.
the Stainless Steel material makes this a winner
Probably it's the speech not matching the visual presentation (Apple-like speech not so Apple-like imagery) the light should have been even softer, but it ain't that bad.
I'm really hoping zebralight comes out with a 16340 version equivalent of the SC52... this little light feels like a flop. It's small, but that is it's only saving grace.
I like that they move the P0 to this new range! Nice video explanation about the utility of full flood. Still using cool LEDs, but XP-G2 in the titanium A0 instead of XP-E.
I like that it is really small, I don't like that it is partly sandblasted, I think it'd look much cooler when fully sandblasted. And the all-flood makes it not a light for me.
So when does nutnfancy do a review? 0:)

James one: eight ![]()
$40 for preorders and no mention of whether it can take a 16340…

for a few dollars more (somewhere around $50-55) I got a small ultrafire (forget model name) modded with kd v2 3 amp driver and an xml2 and ucl… AND 2x 16340 aw imrs… 1000+ lumens on high on fresh cells, 18 hour runtime on low (20+/- lumen)
yeah… move along ![]()
Pass.
If you click on the grey text “specifications” —it shows it will accept up to 4.2v—so 16340’s are ok.
That should boost the lumens waaay up from 110—but I wonder how crappy a heat conductor the stainless steel will be.

Very crappy. It simply does not conduct or absorb heat well. While it has a cool factor to it, using steel in flashlights is just stupid imho.
