6 LED skyray king worth it??

Hello everyone, I’ve been lurking around here for a while, and I bought a Sunwayman d40a from the review on your site, and finally decided to post :). Anyways, my question is I have a 4x t6 skyray king and have been debating buying the 6x t6 version. Would there be a decent difference??

I have neither, but the answer is probably no. Remember that most/all currently available SRKs are clones at this point. There are several reports on here of pretty sad 6x SRKs. I’m not sure I’ve seen any reports of really nice 6x SRKs. Whatever 6x you are looking at is almost certainly going to be worse than a nice 4x (kung).

I have a securitying clone 6 x XML and was surprised to find I like it a lot. I would say its pretty good right out of the box. I boosted up the driver anyway using Comfychair’s simple driver mod.
The beam profile is really nice, and it has a smaller hotspot than the 3 x XML version. I don’t care much for the beam profile of the 4 x version.

For a round light, 6 doesn't make sense, 7 looks sooooo much better ;-)

Did you get it from chinavally on eBay? I only see 3, 5, and 7x on that account right now. Earlier today I ordered a 3x from chinavally based on a recommendation or two here on BLF.

I ordered a 3x from Chinavalley. It said XML, but I got XML2. The 6x is from ePathChina Limited on Aliexpress.

Black SRK (or clone?), $25 shipped, and about 1 week delivery to the US. Works well, 3 modes, high, med, low.

I like it so far. Am only running 3 cells in it. Wish that the middle setting came up first.
