I took a run to home depot today and found myself in the lighting section just to see what's new and found this crazy bright security light on the display.I knew something this bright didn't have a bunch of 5mm led's in it so I'm damn near climbing the display to find out what they were.I finally came to my senses and opened a box(duh)and sure enough 2 xml's in each head,JACKPOT! So of course,I bought it being the flashaholic I am because anything that has xml's in it is worth buying. The boards are custom and have 2 xml's in series and then then each board is wired in series as well. The power supply is a class 2 and is rated at 6-12v out and 1.5amps,I hooked it up inside the house to test it and wow!really punches out some light.I'm going to install it tomorrow and hopefully get some outside shots.

Score !
May I inquire as to the cost ?
$99 plus tax,not too bad considering some of the others had junk emitters in them and cast a blue beam for maybe $10 less.
Looks like a cool light, but after reading the reviews, I think Id return it while I could.
YIKES!this was one of those impulse buys but I’m not too worried with a 30 day money back policy.I hope it works out this thing will prolly melt snow in my driveway.
$99 is too much - esp. since the reviews all pretty much shown it has poor design and quality. Not even brightness sensor control.
I have a few Phillips brand motion sensor, bought nearly 10 years ago, works exceedingly well till this day. Has proper brightness and timer adjustment knob. It uses AC relay, so it’s easy enough to just wire in a 240V driver and a few LEDs if converting.
They’re only around $25-$30 around here. Well worth it since it doesn’t seem to break ![]()
Hmmmmm…I can see the sense in that considering I blew $100 on it and wire up my own with maybe MTG-2???Kinda sucks the reviews were bad,the guy at my store said they just came in this week. They must have been tested in other markets first and passed down the line.
Ouch.
Can you please post the rest of your model number from the box: Model # MSH27920……
Sure, the rest of it is dlwdf-I don’t know if that helps but what are you looking for?
Thanks, it appears that there are possibly 2 versions of the same light, but hard to tell without comparing them in person.

Have you decided to keep it?
Ahhhh..I see, like I said I have 30 days and I am sorta on the fence about it right now.Looking at the two different ones,I can't visually tell the difference but mine says cooper lighting inside the case.Perhaps the driver was changed?Reviews of the one I have seem more comforting whereas the other "old version" really bombed.
