I’m looking for a 940nm flashlight for hunting. Problem I have in winter time is my Dedal is not strong enough on passive on a dark night and I’d like to somehow illuminate the field without opening the window (cold and bastards can smell me). So it should have remote switch and be floody or at least be zoomable. I don’t need it for long range, everything up to 100 meters is fine.
I found bunch of “….fire” on AliExpress but I’m not sure about the quality? Any good/recomended ones?
Not beeing able to find something ready-made, I built one myself, based on a quad IR LED emitter + driver that I tucked into a convoy Z1 body (I chose that one because the zoomie doesn’t need a reflector, thus removing the need of any modification to make the emitter fit)
Just needs an adapter to make the driver fit into the body (20 to 22mm I think)
I may be able to find the seller I bought the emitter from if needed ?
Note : I don’t hunt, so I can’t tell if the Z1 is floody enough for your needs!
