A reliable source for tabless 18650's (30PL/JP30/30XG) in Europe? (Other than Nkon.)

I’m trying to source a “bunch” of (‘affordable’) tabless 18650’s, like the EVE 30PL, Ampace JP30, Tenpower 30XG, etc., here in Europe.

Nkon only lists one tabless 18650, the JP30, which is out of stock at the moment and no indication when it will come back into stock.

So far I haven’t found another EU source for tabless 18650’s. I could order from Simon/Convoy, but even with the discount of 30% when ordering 4 or more, they’re still a bit expensive compared to Nkon. (And with the 8-10 cells I want to order, it does stack up a bit.)

What’s shipping to your location like from nubattery?

Their sister company https://www.cellsupply.co.uk/ does wholesale but last I looked 6-8months ago, didn’t have as good a selection.

These guys used to be 18650.uk, I buy all my cells from them (other than ones supplied with lights).

Unfortunately nubattery doesn’t ship to the Netherlands. Cellsupply has no tabless 18650 listed at the moment.

Man, I really wish that Nkon also decided to stock other tabless 18650, other than the JP30. They add more and batteries from EVE and Tenpower to their site, so why not also the 30PL and the 30XG?!?

I know irrelevant, as they don’t ship, but perhaps useful for comparing prices, they’ve JP30 cells here.

Could well be worth emailing to ask about restocking and future product lines. I’ve never communicated with nkon but they strike me as the sort of company who would have good communication.

I did sent them an email a while ago, making them aware of several tabless 18650’s, but I got a reply back that they didn’t have plans adding those to their inventory.

It’s a bit of shame; they do add more and more tabless 21700 cells to their inventory, but for the 18650 they only stick with 1 type/brand. Apparently they sell limited amounts of 18650’s to make it interesting enough expanding their selection?!?

I looked up that email I sent a while back and the story is slightly different: I asked specificly if they intended to add the JP30 to their assortment and the reply was that they didn’t plan to do so, but that he would pass it on internally.

I don’t know if it was because of my email, but a while later they added the JP30 to their website. :grin:

So I think it is time for a new email, but this time referring to the 30PL and the 30XG.

I totally forgot to send Nkon an email about different brands/types of tabless 18650’s, but today I noticed that the Ampace JP30 is available for pre-order again, so I ordered 10 of them; this time I’m not going to miss out on them! :joy:
