If it was $18 i would but one, but can it take 14500

Probably it can not take 14500, only alkalines ni/mh, as all mrlite flashlights (except the 16340 /18650 lights)

However, if Daniel dont put the links to it, we can not know the specifications..... batteries supported, modes, real LED inside, etc...

$20? Really? I think this one would do really good if on sale. Right guys?

If it were 18 dollars it would be nice, but wait! we dont know exactly the specifications, battery types, lumens, color tint, etc.... A promotional price of 18 USD will be adecuate!

But have to wait until is ready to purchase. Still nothing in the website of MrLite, nothing in the lightake website.

(remember Daniel told: new release flashlight. Not new arrival flashlight. Must wait, I beleive)

Yes, I think this was just a teaser picture that he got from Mrlite, and they haven't released the specs yet.

It's very minimalistic compared to other MrLite lights, basically it's just a tube with some knurling. It wouldn't make sense to me if it was as pricey as the other ones.

But it does look classy and well made. But then again, we are looking at a rendering, aren't we. I'm interested in more info, I hope it isn't 1-mode.

Bring it on, Daniel! :)

For $10 I'd take five and for 3$ I'd take twenty!

???

OOOOOK. 510 lumens for 2 hours from 1xAA. For $20.

I'm buying all of them that you have.

Please, realistic specifications...................... ummm

Hey, I want one!

What a deception. Another random specs generator.........

I am thinking that this "monster" only has XR-E Q2, can accept only alkalines/ni.mh and 9 unusable modes...........

What a pity

Sorry for that ,have correct it ,the manufacturer says it is XRE R2 LED

Then what we will see in the future?

"Sorry for that, have correct it, the manufacturer says it is 50 dollars, not 20"

Even I dont beleive is a xre-R2, probably xre-Q2, also I dont beleive 180 Lumens 30 minutes with AA.

@fran - take it easy... I don't think what you are doing is helping.

Let's not fight over unofficial leaks and wait for a torch that we can "add to cart" - then we'll be sure we're discussing the real thing.

Dam I wish it was an xpg R5 and not a XRE R2 many companies have this out on the market. $18 would be too much.

Yes, disapointing, even 18dollars for a xpe-R2 is too much (if it really is an R2, which I dont beleive)

What is the problem. If you don't like it, don't buy it. I recall someone just doing a review on a $20 aaa and says it's worth it. You can get a aaa light for <$2.

Now we have a new "R2" which may be something else.

Lightake doesn't make the lights. He's just relaying what someone else says. Nobody's even seen it yet and all this complaining. Unbelievable.
