AAA flashlight CLICKY?

Battery Junction also carries the LM21, but apparently, the older non-XP-G2 version:

The reviews there mention that it doesn’t work with non-button-top 10440s. Does anyone have one of the newer XP-G2 ones, and does it work ok with all 10440s?

received this from Lumapower:

Hi Patrick,

The XP-G2 can offer additional 20% output at lower forward current.
The higher the input current means less than 20%.

Refer to 10440, the fresh charged battery can provide a forward current around 1.5~1.7A and the emitter lumens is 458 max.
The OTF lumens will be less and should be close to 75%.

Best regards,

Ricky - Lumapower CS

s.I also remember reading it was fickle with some 10440s, sorry I do not recall exactly. You will have to research.

This Lumapower with 10440’s sounds amazing. A AAA form light acting like a hopped up AA form light. Why is there no reviews out there basically? The XP-G2 version sounds incredible.

couple of reviews:

The Streamlight Microstream has a great beam and is built very very well for a ~20 dollar light.

Crelant V01A is compatible with AAA/10440 which less than 20usd, but it is not clicky, you can rotate the head the turn on and press the tail for momentary on.

I bought it…we will see what it is like!

thank you for all opinions, but i think to be interested in the Lumapower!!
@Dweano please give us informations when you will receive it
But now I have to gather enough some dollars for it because i have just bought a Crelant 7g9 with double module XM-L2 and XP-G2!

I will give a average man review when I get it haha

If I were you, I’d buy nlight b3, but unfortunately it’s discontinued…I should’ve bought more than one…

 You’d never want to know how we comment on Ultrafire and CQG (if it’s its english name…) lights here in our country…

I’m a big fan of the Pelican 1920. It has been my work EDC for almost two years now and it is still going strong. A little beat up and worn but works perfectly. If it breaks or I loose it, I will immediately buy another to replace it. It’s that good for my needs.

The 1910 which is the 1AAA version of my 2AAA 1920 is not as impressive. It very large and bulky for a 1AAA. The brightness is less than half of the 1920. The quality is great but it just seems like you give up so much for a little more compact light. The 2AAA version is very nice but the 1AAA version seems lacking. It is a forward clicky and has a good pocket clip so the quality is there.

Lumapower LM21 with XG-G2 . My best aaa clicky

I just received this and like it.

Do tell!

 Your location have already told!

Just got mine as well. 3-mode.

Can't say I'm overly impressed. Perhaps I'm a bit spoiled by my LD01 and Thrunite Ti. PA01 is an OK little light but the switch in mine is definitely dodgy after only 1 day of use. Flickers and sometimes won't come on at all. It appears to be a sealed unit so other than unscrewing and refitting it I guess I'm out of options.

Still, it was under $10 so I guess I shouldn't have expected too much.
