About Yuji LED performance&experience

I am newbie firstly,

I am gonna use led strips on my bookshelf and on some decorations. My friends introduced me Yuji LED’s products because I need high CRI>90, and Yuji has 95 CRI.

Now I am thinking which one I should buy,

VTC Series D50 5000K High CRI LED 2835 LED Flexible Strip - 120 LED/M - Pack: 5M/REEL Or
BC Series High CRI LED 2835 LED Flexible Strip - 120 LED/M - Pack: 5M/REEL

The difference is VTC D50 is kinda lighting closed to standard illuminant and CRI 98, which is rarely found from anywhere else, but it’s more expensive. (I prefer this one
The other one is a standard led strip, CRI 95, Blue chip GB phosphor.

So does anyone know the performance about Yuji LED? and pleeeeease advice me.

I don’t have any experience with the led strips but I have a few of their light bulbs and I like em very much. Only down side is they are not dimmable and pretty expensive shipping.
I am also interested in their led srips but I find them very expensive. I also wonder if they are dimmable.

I am not sure about their light bulbs, coz I couldn’t find from their website.

For led strips, the brightness is dimmable for all if you use their driver as well. Also, they have another one called hybrid colour temperature, which is to control the colour temperature and brightness separately as far as I know.

I agree they are expensive, but my friends told me they are deserved, so I am gonna try.

Hi !

I’ve bought some Yuji VTC LEDs for a DIY ceiling light. The color rendering and light quality is definitely worth the money, however…

1) The D50 version is calibrated to the D50 standard. The standard version is not. If you are not going to rely on the D50 standard for evaluation of color quality on prints, art prints, photos, etc, then you don’t need D50. Basically it is a standardized light source spectrum meant to ensure two people who view the same material under this light in different places will see the same color. Most likely you don’t need to pay extra for D50 for a DIY light for your home, thus the much cheaper standard version will work just fine.

2) The Yuji MCPCB modules offer a little bit more lumen for your money than the strips (divide the price by lumen output) but of course if you need a strip because you want to bend it, then you gotta get a strip…

Also Meanwell makes plenty of cheap and reliable power supplies with dimming.
