Interesting, I can’t not figure out how to download the datasheet but based on those numbers, they must be overdriving the LED pretty heavily to reach 6300lm in the K75.

Anyone know what the actual drive current is in the K75?

The price is better then expected.

Looks like the 4300 lumens is at 9A, at 18k it is rated for 5800 lumens.

Also looks like it can be overdriven and still gain lumens if cooled, so 6300 sounds reasonable. I would still be very interested to know what the K75 is driving it with.

The forward voltage has a really wide range of 2.8-3.8v in the datasheet, making it hard to figure out if it would work with an FET driver.

4300 lumens at 9amps? That sounds pretty great. So it gets 150-160 lumens per watt when driven to 4300 lumens?

If that’s the case, TA might just be able to get the GT4 to run 4 of these and earn the title of the farthest throwing production light yet with monster output!

4600 lumens at 18 amps sounds more realistic according to how hot the K75 heats up on turbo— feels like it’s pushing more than 100 watts to heat up so fast.

Yeah, just going off the datasheet specs. As we know they don’t always match real world numbers.

I am trying to see if I can get my hands on some of the LED’s to play with.

I don’t like the interface.
On the K70 you had that nice ring, but on this one there’s just a stupid button. Not good for emergency at all. You need to be able to turn it on in the mode you want.

The one button UI is actually better for emergencies than the old style control ring.

The one button UI allows instant [one handed] access to any one of 3 different output levels.

Ultra Low, L/M/H [memory] and Turbo.

The K70 is a two handed light that is slow and cumbersome, especially in an emergency.

Just received my K75 yesterday from Andrew & Amanda. Haven’t really had time to play with it but just did a quick lumen measurement with the TA lumen tube calibrated with Maukka lights at turn-on.

4,310 lumens at turbo in power mode
1,820 lumens in Eco max.

I did not take any measusrements at 30s. Lumens fall after turn-on so 30s should be much lower. I tried both the stock Acebeam 18650 protected cells and Keeppower VTC6 3100mah protected cell and got the same results. They both use the Sony VTC6 underneath. For anyone getting higher measurements, what cells did you use? I wonder if I got a lemon or is Acebeam ratings severely inflated on this light. They are not as good as Olight, Fireflies, and Emisar when it comes to lumen rating accuracy but nothing this bad. I measured the Acebeam TK16 osram version and got 1100 lumens, which is not too bad.

The K75 is smaller and much lighter than I expected. The head is slightly smaller than the R90C. I can fit it completely in my 4” TA lumen tube for an accurate measurement. I think it is very well designed. I found a pic that it is compatible with the X65 8-cell rechargeable tube for extended run times. I also tried an X80 4-cell tube and it fits in the K75. However, the K75 tube does not fit in the X80. Weird.

Who did the job on the led of your light, and what about Lumens and Candelas please?Is there a major difference?

No,in case of emergency,I had to turn the ring one step only and I had strobe mode at once,which is way better.

Acebeam seems to advertise below the specs unlike all other flashlight brands. My K70 was measured at 470k cd as opposed to 422k that they posted. Have to respect that.

Astrolux on the other hand… Their MF02 is posted as 3k lumens/ 1.5km throw which is nowhere close to reality. Jokable brand.

I measured the K70 at 610kCd.

Just got my Acebeam K75vn with a power boost and Driver VNX3 from Skylumen Vinh Nguyen…… cant wait till these batteries charge and night falls…

Hoping for 1.8mcd+ at 30s! Too bad I have no way of testing to my knowledge… I ordered it with specs included though.

This is my first light with over 450kcd… talk about a step up!

This thing is fun. I hiked up a mountain last night with a friend to get at least 1/2 mile away from houses in order to play with the K75 and W30 without disturbing people. We probably caught the attention of someone maybe a mile away and he was shooting a laser at us and we shot back. It was like a super distant light war. My friend became an instant convert into the flashlight hobby.
