So I got the terminator m1 with the “6500k” emitters so they call them. It doesn’t specify anywhere what these emitters are so I don’t know what I can reflow into this, I haven’t been in the hobby since 2022 and this is the first light I’ve bought since then and I would’ve opted for the warmer nichia emitters but they weren’t in stock so mainly I’m asking what have people reflowed into this mcpcb and what will fit? Thanks!
Afaik the stock LEDs are SST20. You could reflow the 3535-LEDs of your choice.
I didn’t mod mine, but thought about it, but I ended up liking the cold white in combination with the LEP.
Heck yes thank you! Just did a swap with some 219Cs I had laying around and it’s so much better !! Put in a little glow under the optic too I found in my old parts drawer, knew some of this stuff would come in handy one day. All the modes work great but moonlight on the flood is unusable it’s so dim but meh it works great otherwise
