you can easily hold the x70 after 60 seconds on turbo. The handle will barely be warm. the regulation is temp controlled so it can run longer with the fan outside with a breeze

I will let ya know buddy, I didn’t time the Imalent when I used it nor did I try to push it that long but it did stay decent to me in my hand. Now mind you I am in KY and it has been quite cold at or below freezing so I dunno if right now is the best time to test this stuff lol but I will strap on the handle to this thing and see what it does, I dunno what it is but the thrower in the middle of the beam of the X70 kills me lol I love floody lights. I wish they would have went with an XHP70.2 also for the thrower in the middle, the BLF GT70 works great as a thrower with good flood and not too hot of a hot spot I think it would work great in this light also.

See I also agree a few videos did make the beam look smoother on the X70 but in person I dunno it doesn’t seem that way. Not being bias as I have already sold my MS12, as I stated both are killer lights and so close in lumens your eyes are not going to tell the difference. Neither battery pack is replaceable or accessible, I have seen comments about Imalent running a battery pack guess they didn’t realize that Acebeam’s big lights run none accessible battery packs also.

All the DX80 talk has made me want to pick one up, I am shopping for one now LOL wife is gonna kill me she told me the X70 was my last for awhile. Pretty sure she classifies awhile like I do and that means 72hrs lol hahaha For the size of the DX80 it is a killer little light, plus I liked the OLED screen on it telling you the output lumen didn’t leave you wondering what output brightness you were at.

Also about the TINT both of mine were CW, I will say for a stupid lumen output light I didn’t bother with a NW. Wasn’t for sure what the lumen output loss would be going with a NW and less face it most of using a 53-60k output light are not commenting on how well it shows off color lol We are using them to melt snow off of the driveway lol

No seriously tho I can’t comment on that as both of mine were CW and between the two (i don’t have them both together) but I will say both are very close to each other

The dx80 is a great flashlight, I like more about my ms12, it is “compact” for the great duration it has, the screen is a great added to know that in lumens level, it is something that I miss a lot in the ms12.

almost certainly in which in version 3 the problems have already been solved

If you are fast, Calvin has the DX80 for sale still….

edit: the one I received was also Gen 3. Just keep your fingers crossed

If I recall correctly, you can turn on flood mode on the x70 and turn off the middle led.

Also thanks to perpetual lumen for turbo info!

You can turn off the middle led with an additional 5clicks from the 5 click lockout.

You are correct I had forgot about it when mentioning stuff. I guess IMO the thrower part is just too dang good lol It stands out from the beam hahaha

Also something else I was thinking of is the stupid ECO mode, for a light like this it is silly. I know it is considered to be somewhat like a muggle mode but I highly doubt any of us that own either an MS12 or X70 will just handing this to a none flashlight person and saying go have fun.

I would like to have traded the eco mode for more actual lumen levels and maybe a Turbo setup like the X80GT and X45 where you have 2 turbo levels

As a quick warning, don’t run it in throw-only turbo mode as it was reported that it may smoke: Acebeam X70 owners --- IMPORTANT--- PLEASE READ THIS

Difference between MS12 and X70.

Nice. My problem will funding. Want both now.

Just got my DX80, but just cant justify getting a the X70 or MS12 after seeing how well it performs.
It like the MF04S then getting the GT70, I now have two massive MOFO throwers, I only need one that can light up an object. Ironically both throwers can only do it on highest output for about 1.5 mins.
I won’t be getting another mega light until I see better sustainable outputs.

Smart move. See my posting about ” getting crazy overspending ” and see why.
