Hi all,
It is so awesome to me that the lumen output battle is in the mid 5 digits now, what a rush!
Which one do you think is the better light?
Hi all,

Phooaaa, man, this is mind blowing. Respect!
Great video again, thank you. Did you get a chance to review this relative to the DX80?
That was a fun video. I guessed right! It was pretty easy to tell in the long range test.
My favorite part was the end at the dam where you always go. I lm so happy you included the R90C. Wish there was more of it compared to the X70 though it seemed pretty clear that the X70 lost to the R90C on efficacy, lighting up the boat house.
That’s my biggest gripe with them as well, the buttons are impossible in the dark. Somehow we manage to turn them on but on a thrower you can make them big and fat. It’s not ever going to see pocket carry duty and we know how to perform a mechanical lockout.
Fun and interesting as usual!
Super thanks for the support gang!! Always appreciated.
No, my DX80 died and I took it apart to see if I could fix it, but taking it apart did some major damage inside. Not worth the time so I sold the battery pack…

What did you all think about the martial arts movie spoof at the very end?
The Lantern Arts fight at the end was funny, I thought it was just one person wearing makeup at first.
I was certainly bummed by two things; 1. the actual test lumens of the X70 and MS13, 2. that you did not get to include the X80 or get list its test results.
Is the MS12 glued down like a mofo too?
Yes.
Most lights with integrated battery packs are glued to the bone.
Matt, great video man. I am leaning towards R90C for effectiveness… BUT I have to go with Acebeam as winner here. Due to shear output.
great video, that dam looks like a fun place to shine lights at, but is it ok to do that ? i dont know… but u seem to have fun doing these videos sad that your dx80 died bleh their quality….
Nice video that shows the beams well.
I have to say I’m not a fan of the beam of the X70. It just doesn’t seem like an effective use of the frontal area. The XHP35HI beam is too small compared to the XHP70.2 beam; the two beams don’t seem to be working together and it looks like it might be distracting. Most of the light is spread very wide whereas if they took better advantage of the frontal area they could have put more lumens downrange like the MS12. Not to say this beam pattern would not be appropriate for some uses, but it’s just not my preference.
yeah i agree, the reflectors would have had to be alot bigger and deeper, that tiny xhp35 in the middle i feel sorry for lol… kinda useless…
Acebeam made it super easy to disable the center 35HI with just a few clicks.
All three of ours are setup this way.
With the 35HI disabled, the X70 is steroid driven flood monster with an absolute flawless beam.
