If I am not mistaken, Sofirn designed and released the SP36S due to some (or a lot of?) customers feeling overstrained by Andúril’s complexity. The BLF edition has probably not sold as expected.

I like Anduril lights for myself but I would never gift one to muggles. Everytime I let someone borrow an Anduril light they always comeback quickly to me because they entered some blinky modes/settings. Simple UI is smart for the general market. However, I did not buy this light because of the greenish LH351D tint. If Sofirn can shave the emitters, that would drop the DUV to below the BBL giving it a very nice HI CRI tint. I would buy it. However, please don’t add 2 minute auto step-down and please don’t glue the threads!

The fast charging capability does sounds sweet and I would’ve loved to have it in my SP36 BLF, but other than that, this SP36S is inferior in every other way.
